Patricia Barry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home - Jacksonville on Oct. 8, 2025.

Patricia "Trish" Ellen Barry, age 64, of Jacksonville, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 8, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1960, in Montebello, California to her late mother and father, Amos and Ellen (Mudge) Roberts.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Pfc. Danny L. Kimme; and siblings, Marty Bates and William "Billy" Roberts.

She is survived by her loving husband, Darren Barry; children, Nichole (Travis) Rose of Illinois and Steven Willis, Sr. of Arkansas; grandchildren, Dani and Steven Jr.; sister, Nancy Helfrich; sister-in-law, Donna Roberts, along with a multitude of extended family and friends whom she loved so dearly.

Trish was a vibrant soul who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, thoroughly enjoying their traditional poker games. She was a loving mother and wife who spent many of her days caring for those around her, offering words of encouragement and support to those who needed them.

She loved spending time with her devoted husband, Darren, as the two of them were always content watching movies and their favorite shows while enjoying dinner together, followed by morning coffee and heartfelt conversations. That time was especially meaningful to them both.

In her earlier days, she loved traveling with Darren on various trips around the country, as well as visiting their children and granddaughter in Illinois. A memorable highlight for them all was a gorgeous weeklong Caribbean cruise with her husband, daughter, and son-in-law, where they shared a week of relaxation and fun, basking in the glory of God's beautiful creations-creating memories they would all cherish for a lifetime.

Trish was always known as the special "spark" among her family and friends, and her presence will be deeply missed. Although her loved ones mourn her absence, they find comfort in God's promise that one day, we will see each other again in His Kingdom of Heaven.

There will be a funeral service at 11:00am on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home, 1504 N JP Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, Arkansas. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00am at the funeral home. The immediate family will have a private burial at Cato Cemetery, where she will be laid at her final resting place alongside her parents and son.
