Jeff Barry-Bluffton, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at age 57. He joins our fathers Robert Barry and Robert May, along with Brother-in-law Edouard Champion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sue, his mother Gloria Barry, sibling Lisa Barry, children Jessica (Cody Godfrey), Nicholas (Taylor), Danielle, Granddaughter Claribel, mother- in- law Vivian May, Brother-in- law Daniel (Julie May), Sister-in-law Barb Champion, nieces Marisa May, Alana (Mason, Maverik) May, and his best fur friend Louise. As well as everyone whom he knew as extended family, work family and many dear friends.
Jeff worked in the hotel industry since college, working at well know properties known such as the Plaza Hotel (NYC), Westin Hotel (Hilton Head, SC), Sea Pines Resort (Hilton Head, SC), Ritz Carlton (Reynolds Plantation, GA) and the Inn at Palmetto Bluff (Bluffton, SC).
He had a love of nature wherever it took him, the beach, the mountains or just sitting on the back porch listening to the birds. He loved our yearly family trips, swimming, riding bikes on the beach, dinners at the beach, golfing, kayaking, cruising around on his motorcycle, the mountains, fishing, spending time with family and his yearly Christmas light displays.
Our neighbors referred to him as the Clark Griswold of the neighborhood and always looked forward to what the new Christmas theme would be.
He will truly be missed by his family, extended family, and everyone who thought of him as a friend, father figure or mentor.
