Theresa Rose Grbac, nee Hunter, age 91 , longtime resident of Elmhurst and formerly of Franklin Park; active member of the Franklin Park Women's Club for over 50 years; member General Federation of Women's Clubs; founding member and original board member of the Franklin Park Park District; former President of the Altar and Rosary Society, St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church; Beloved wife of John I. Grbac; Loving mother of Margaret "Peggy" (Michael) Goodman, Judy Ippolito, Nancy Gerenstein, John I. (Maria Kastanis-Grbac) Grbac III, and the late James Grbac; proud grandmother of David and Brian (Megan) Goodman, Ivy (Ernie) Forman, Vince (Kristine) Ippolito, Ryan (Tiffany) and Zach Gerenstein and great-grandmother of Maisie and Finn Goodman, Vincent, Anthony and Joey Ippolito and Reese, Ryder and Emme-Jo Gerenstein; dear sister of Mary Yetsky, James (the late Donna) Hunter, Thomas Hunter and the late Elizabeth "Betty" (James) McDonough; cherished daughter of the late James Austin Hunter and the late Aileen Holt Hunter. Friends and family will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 426 North West Avenue, Elmhurst.
