Patricia Ann Hines, 66, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 5, 2024. She was born in Cincinnati on July 5, 1958, to Burton Stamper and Eva Creech.
Patricia, better known as Theresa, married Steve, the love of her life on April 13, 1975. During their marriage they had 3 children, Tracy Crawford, Jennifer Bullock, and Steven (Ashley) Hines. Over the years they gained 4 grandchildren: Christopher (Collyn) Crawford, Hanna Crawford, Jesse (Emily) Bullock, and Mason Bullock, and 6 great grandchildren: Dallas, Britten, Paisley, Evelyn, Robert, and Ryder.
She is survived by her dear brothers Donnie and James Williams, her beloved sister Mary Baldrick, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Theresa is preceded in death by her parents: Eva and Burton, Sisters: Debbie, Barb, and Delores.
Theresa also had four fur babies that she loved with all her heart. Dogs: Eddie, Louie, Miley, and cat Maggie. They quickly became her bodyguards, always protecting her wherever she went.
Theresa had many hobbies, being a mom and grandma were at the top of her list. She liked collecting miniatures, coloring, stitching, painting and on Saturday mornings she enjoyed spending time with her daughters and friend Juanita, on Saturday evening she was sure to watch Svengoolie. She was a big Elvis fan, watching his movies every year on his birthday, and listening to his music all year round. She enjoyed camping trips with her family going once a year to Kentucky, it was always a family trip and became a tradition over the years. Theresa also loved going to the dollar stores with her sister Mary. If you asked Theresa what she was doing at home, she would reply “doing my housework”.
Theresa loved her family and adored all her grandchildren. She would always check in with them everyday. She would send little text messages to brighten their day, she truly loved to see them smile. Theresa will be missed deeply by those who knew her.
Theresa will always be remembered for her genuine personality and always looking at the good side of things. She was a tough little lady who did not give up, she gained strength from her friends and family.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 18, 2024, at Hodapp Funeral Home (8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held the next morning, Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
