Mrs. Theresa Ann Lambert Ray, 73, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Royal Oaks Baptist Church. Rev. Andy Downs will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 pm Sunday at Royal Oaks Baptist Church.

Interment will be 2:00 pm Monday at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.

Theresa was born March 6, 1952 in Concord. She was a daughter of the late James William Lambert and Vivian Oline Seymore Lambert. Theresa was a weaver at Cannon Mills for 30 years until the day they closed the doors. In her free time, she was spoiling her grandchildren in every way possible. After retirement, she spent her days with Jesse going to yard sales, taking trips to Saltville, Virginia and fishing at High Rock Lake with her sister. Playing cards with her family was her favorite pastime, she was known for laying all her cards down at one time in rummy and bidding too high for the "kitty" in Rook. She had a giving soul, when someone tried to say goodbye you always heard "Come here, I got something for you". For everyone who knew her, knew they were loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her close companion, Jesse Overcash, Sr.

Theresa is survived by her daughter, Denise Eudy and husband Robert of Albemarle; two sons, James Ray and Billy Ray, both of Kannapolis; three sisters, Shirley Clark of Kannapolis, Carol Gallman and husband Bobby of Landis and Linda Lambert of Kannapolis; two brothers, Leon Lambert of Mooresville and Mike Lambert and wife Janet of Albemarle; seven grandchildren, Brandon Childress, Adam Eudy, Beth Page and husband Andy, Misty Ray and husband David, Bill Ray and wife Crystal-Rosada, Gracie Marcum and Elijah Ray.
