Theresa Maria Marion, age 94, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Golden, Colorado.

Born on February 9, 1931, in Boston, Massachusetts, Theresa grew up in East Boston before her

family later moved to Medford. Proud of her Boston roots and Italian heritage, she carried both with her

throughout her long, meaningful life.

A dedicated student, Theresa graduated from high school and college before beginning her early

career at a Boston newspaper agency and later working in the records department of a local hospital.

At age 25, she felt the pull of adventure and traveled west, first settling in Southern California and

eventually making her way to Phoenix, Arizona. It was there that she met and married the love of her

life, John A. Marion, with whom she built a beautiful family.

Together they welcomed two daughters, Lisa and Pam, and raised them across several states before

ultimately settling in Colorado. Theresa devoted many years to being a loving homemaker, later

returning to the workforce as a secretary in a fire and sprinkler company, a high school, and both a

television and radio station.

Theresa believed deeply in service and volunteerism. She generously gave her time to the VA Hospital

in Grand Junction, Colorado, and proudly contributed 3,000 hours to the Grand Junction Visitor Center,

where her warm personality and kindness touched countless people.

Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John A. Marion, and her grandson Tyler.

She is survived by her daughters Lisa and Pam; her son-in-law Bill; her grandchildren Adrienne & John,

Brian, Jason & Larissa, Jordan & Madison, Chris & Johnette, Victoria & Brian, and Matthew; and her

great-grandchildren Jake, Luke, Bronwyn, Meara, Cash, John, and Ari. Her family was her greatest joy,

and she carried immense pride in each of them.

Theresa will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her strong sense of heritage, and

the resilience and warmth that defined her life. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, pride, and

generosity that will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.
