Theresa Ann Miller

Theresa Miller, 95, Emery, SD, died Monday, October 27, 2025 at the Diamond Care Center in Bridgewater, SD. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Friday, October 31, at St. Martin Catholic Church in Emery. Burial will be in the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7:00 PM at the Church with a 6:30 PM prayer service. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Theresa Ann Miller was born April 17, 1930, in Hartford, SD, to Philip and Iva (Schliemann) Huse. She graduated from Hartford High School.

On May 1, 1954, she married Donald Miller at Hartford, SD. Theresa worked at various business offices in Sioux Falls, Don Burns Truck Line in Parker and Moorman Feeds in Alexandria until her retirement. They resided in Parker, SD until moving to Emery in 1969. They were members of St. Martin Catholic Church.

Theresa is survived her children; Cindy (Terry) Hanssen of Sioux Falls, Roxy (Jerry) Drietz of Canton, Tom (Teresa) Miller of Sioux Falls, Randy (Melanie) Miller of Hartford and Terry (Patty) Miller of Emery; siblings, Rosie Burke of Mason City, IA, LaVonne Guentert of Niles, MI, Lawrence Huse of Sioux Falls; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; sister in-law, Mary Miller, and many numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Miller; parents, Philip and Iva Huse; sister, Dorothy Deters; and brother, Richard Huse.
