Theresa M. "Romanello" Paturzo

Theresa M. Paturzo, age 84, of Jackson, NJ passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in New York before relocating to Brick, NJ, 53 years ago. She was employed by Sears and Roebuck in N.Y., Dictaphone Corp., Meridian Health System(Brick) and in post-retirement, Butler's Pharmacy. She was a Parishioner at St. Dominics Roman Catholic Church, Brick, NJ. She enjoyed reading, volunteering in her women's club, shopping, vacationing in Long Beach Island, and most of all; seeing her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Paturzo, her parents Frank and Tessie Romanello and her brother John Romanello. Theresa is survived by her son Robert Paturzo and his wife, Rene of Hardeeville, SC; her daughter, Jenine M. Stallworth and her husband, Bruce of Jackson, NJ; and Thomas J. Paturzo of Point Pleasant, NJ; Three sister-in-laws; Frances Macaluso and her husband, Lenny of East Rockaway, NY, Dorothy Steech of Mount Joy, PA, and Maureen Romanello of Sayreville, NJ.

Theresa also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren; Robert, Matthew, Brian, T.J., Kimberly, Kaelyn, Kamryn and Steele; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, and her long-time caregiver, Rhonda Davis.

Family and Friends may call on Friday, February 6, from 4pm to 7pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Rd, Manasquan, NJ 08736. The following day, at 10am, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, Brick, NJ, with an interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Theresa's name to Hackensack Meridian Hospice - Manahawkin, at 80 Nautilus Dr, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.
