Gail Paturzo Obituary
She was born in Milford in 1948, the daughter of the late Richard and Kathleen (Stead) Piergustavo and was a lifelong resident of Hopedale. She was a graduate of Hopedale High School, Class of 1966 and attended Boston University.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Elliott, she is survived by her 4 children, Atty. Lisa Alberto and her husband David of Hopedale, E.J. Paturzo and his wife Susan of Bellingham, Jennifer McKeon and her husband Kelly of Hopedale and Anthony Paturzo and his wife Marie of Whitinsville and 9 grandchildren, Julia and DJ, Evan and Ella, Alex, Kaeli, and Piper, Vincenzo and Viviana.
Gail was a design consultant for Macy's, Paine and Hitchcock Furniture in Natick. She was also a real estate broker/owner at ERA / New England Properties in Franklin for many years.
A very social person, she always enjoyed entertaining and always put a certain flair and sparkle into everything she did. She loved spending time with friends and family and loved watching her grandchildren's sporting events and watching them all grow. Along with her husband, she would also enjoy an occasional cruise to the Caribbean. There were also many shopping adventures, looking for antiques and lunch and dinner outings that always kept a smile on her face. Gail will be missed by everyone that knew her and mostly by her husband, children and grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 4-7 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 10:00AM with a procession leaving at 10:45AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish,187 Hopedale St., Hopedale.
Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery, Rte. 16, Hopedale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, MA Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.

My mom and Hazel were besties so that made our families so very special. Through so many years of just real down to earth solid true unconditional friendship. I will always cherish the heartwarming moments with Hazel, Gail and her children. Trips to the natick mall 8 hours including breakfast lunch and dinner. True professional shoppers. Always stopping at Marconi's for pizza. And back to Hazel's for ice cream sundaes. The very best people. Gail will always be a happy and loving person that I will never forget. And may she rest in peace and will live on in her children and grandchildren forever. I am glad to have known her and pray for her family during this difficult time.
