Theresa Ann (Howard) Stonerock, 60 of Clark County, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026. She was born on November 1, 1965, in Dayton, OH, the daughter of the late John H. and Bobbie J. (Day) Howard Jr.

She was well-known for her unwavering commitment to her career, having worked for over 20 years as the executive assistant to the president of Ali Industries, now recognized as Rust-Oleum. She loved working for the Ali family. Theresa's work ethic was remarkable, often described as a workaholic, yet she managed to strike a delicate balance with her deep love for family and friends. 

Theresa held gardening close to her heart; her passion manifested in her beautifully tended raised garden beds, where she nurtured an array of vegetables and flowers, showcasing her well-earned reputation for having a green thumb. Each spring, she would eagerly await the planting season, bringing vibrant life and color to her surroundings.

Beyond her professional and gardening pursuits, Theresa cherished her time spent traveling. She had many unforgettable adventures, with special fondness for the trips she took with her family and friends. She marveled at the stunning Teton Mountains and the natural wonders of Yellowstone. The Smoky Mountains and St. Augustine Florida also held a special place in her heart, with memorable visits to St. Augustine where she relished the sun and surf alongside her beloved family and friends. 

Theresa was a devoted family member, building strong connections with her brother, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Though she and Greg did not have children of their own, she embraced her brothers' children with open arms, treating them as her own. Her relationships were characterized by genuine affection. warmth, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved. 

Theresa had a strong faith in God. She prayed and worshipped in her own personal way. She was a great role model to many no matter what age. She instilled great morals and values. It was important to her to maintain family traditions. 

In addition, Theresa had a great appreciation for music, often attending concerts and celebrating her passion for all genres of music. Her zest for life was infectious, and the memories she created with friends and family will be cherished by all who knew her. 

Theresa will be remembered as a loving and dedicated individual, whose spirit and joy for life touched many. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever hold dear the beautiful moments shared with her.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Gregory K. “Greg” Stonerock; only brother, Larry Howard; nieces and nephews, Dillon (Ryan Pelfrey) Howard, Molly (Jon)Howard-Phillips, Bryce (Rebecca) Howard; lifelong friends, Michele Bost, Beth Klintworth; along with their families and beloved golden-doodle, “Charlie”; extended family, colleagues, and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH, 45324. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until the start of service.

Theresa loved receiving fresh flowers but if desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton in Theresa’s memory. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn, OH.
