Joan Kaye Estell Stonerock, "Granny Bubbles", 80, of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away on September 24, 2025.

Born December 18, 1944, in Decatur, Illinois, Joan led a life devoted to her faith, family, and community. A proud member of Old Pathways Church, she exemplified the teachings of her faith, making it her mission to put others first. Joan was preceded in death by her son in-law Bob Miller, a sister Jeanie Corman, and brother Richard Estell.

Her unwavering love and kindness will forever be cherished by those who knew her. Reflecting her favorite Bible verses: Matthew 6:33 King James Version 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". and Jeremiah 29:11 King James Version 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Ronda Miller, grandchildren Jennifer Moody (Paul), and Dorian Miller (Emily); great grandchildren Hailey Price, Robert Stonerock (Brooke), Ivalee Miller, Cheyenne Robbins; a great great-grandchild Rhett Stonerock; a brother Phillip Estell (Rhonda); many nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Granny Bubbles was a godly woman and wanted to encourage others to live their best, every day. This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.
