Jonathon Michael Britt

Jonathon Michael Britt, 54, of Canton passed away Sunday September 21, 2025.
Jonathon proudly served his country in the United States Army, specializing as a nuclear biological chemical operations specialist for two years. His dedication to service was recognized with numerous honors, including the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Army Lapel Button, Sharpshooter Badge, Parachute Badge, and the Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Service Star.
After his military service, he furthered his education in the world of general contracting, where he applied his craftsmanship to build and create. Outside of his work, he found joy in simple pleasures, relishing time spent with loved ones, nurturing his passion for Star Wars, and immersing himself in the world of video games. He is preceded in death by his mother Patsy Britt and his grandmother Norma Warren.
He is survived by his beloved wife Julie, his son Jonathon Britt Junior, daughter in-law Nikki, stepson Jax Doughty and his wife Cat, his cherished grandchildren: Caidence Montgomery, Ivy Britt, Paisley Britt, Asher Doughty, and Alphy Doughty; sister Kim Thomason and her husband Kenneth.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Pinnacle Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
