Theresa (Teri) Lynette Hooker

Teri Hooker, 63, passed away on November 13, 2025 peacefully in her home. She was born to the late Richard Frank and Barbara Jean Houzvicka on February 25, 1962 in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Teri enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. She liked to take care of "her girls," her chickens. She was able to out hunt or fish any man. She also enjoyed going to farmer's markets on early Saturday mornings.

Teri honorably served her community as a Cleveland City carrier for 36 years, with over 40 years of total service. She loved and cherished each family that she met.

Teri is survived by her children, Richard (Kayla Bell) Houzvicka, Jamison (Shelby) Dottore, Matthew Hooker, and Cassie (Travis) Morrow, grandchildren, Bailey, Sophie, Olivia, Dawson, Kinzee, Vincent, Beatrix, Reign, Alexander, Gabe, Anora, and Jasmine, partner in life, Randy Hooker, extended family, Zora and Robyn Hooker, siblings, James Houzvicka, Kenneth (Liz) Houzvicka, Ginger (Steven) Strout, Camille (Ray) Zeller, Russell Houzvicka, and Trisha (Glenna) Barton. Teri was an aunt to many.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Patterson officiating. the family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.
