Theresa Alice Trujillo

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 92, our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Theresa Alice Trujillo, peacefully entered the kingdom of heaven surrounded by her family. Born on March 31, 1931, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to parents Stella and Ramon Baca, Theresa was married to Elfego Trujillo. She was a woman who exuded beauty in every aspect of her being. It was not just her physical appearance, although she possessed a radiance that could light up any room. Her true beauty lay in her kind heart, her gentle spirit, and her ability to see the beauty in others.

Theresa loved her children, grandchildren, and all of her family dearly. She had a way of making everyone feel special, loved and appreciated. She loved to laugh and make jokes. Gratitude was a cornerstone of Theresa's existence. She had an incredible ability to find joy in the simplest of things and express her appreciation for every blessing that came her way. Whether it was a breathtaking sunset or a warm cup of coffee or the laughter of her loved ones. Theresa never took anything for granted. Her gratitude was infectious and It reminded us all to cherish the little moments that make life truly meaningful.

But perhaps one of the most remarkable qualities of Theresa was her unwavering commitment to taking care of everyone around her. Theresa was blessed with 11 kids: Pat (spouse Sandra), Luis (spouse Marie), Diane (spouse Delfinio), Jeanette (spouse +Cresenciano the II), Wilfred (spouse Denise), Cindy (spouse +Ronny), Rodney, Joanne (spouse Isaac), Gerald (spouse Brandy), Martin (spouse Kim), and Brenda (spouse Jonathan). She was also blessed with many grandchildren: 26 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers serving the family include Mikey, Brandon, Jared, Joey, Frog, Fifi, and Elijah. The honorary pallbearers are Luis, Juan, Gabe, Christopher, Gerald, Jesuse, Daniel, and Isaiah. 

The funeral arrangements for Theresa will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 9:00 AM with the funeral mass to follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment to take place immediately following the funeral mass at the San Antonito Cemetery.
