Thom Sourivong

Mrs. Thom Sourivong, age 74, passed away on January 7, 2026 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH. Thom was born March 2, 1951 in Laos to the late Panh and Kongma Khamsaly. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be remembered for her contagiously bright smile, which always made other people's days better. She was an excellent cook, and was known well for her delicious recipes, which included using her own homegrown vegetables. She also spent as much free time as possible fishing in all types of weather. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by two of her siblings. Thom is survived by her husband of 43 years, Spencer Sourivong; children, Xai Fonseka, Ky Khamphoumy, Pheng Khamphoumy; Laty Sourivong; grandchildren, Melinda Sourivong, Aaron Schneider, Joshua Sourivong, Ceairra Khamphoumy, Chanh Khamphoumy, Shaundel Bethel, Binuri Fonseka, and Sesadi Fonseka; great grandson, Kayson Sourivong-Harper; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
