LANCASTER, S.C. Mr. William Thomas "Tom" Arant age 90 husband of Mrs. Betty Arant died Monday November 17, 2025. The Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. Friday Morning November 21, 2025 at The First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church by the Pastor Jonathan Williams, burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Church from 10 AM to 11 AM Friday Morning November 21, 2025.
Mr. Arant was born January 22, 1935 a son of the late William Thomas Arant Sr. and Mrs. Lillie Hicks Arant. Mr. Arant was an active member of the First ARP Church loved his church. He was a godly man loving his family, he was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardner. He retired from Springs Industries Screen Printing Department, and was the last surviving member of 14 children by Mr. and Mrs. Arant.
Mr. Arant is survived by his wife of 71 years of the home, two daughters Wanda Arant Wells (David) of Rockingham, N.C, and Jessie Arant Hoffman (TR) of Aiken, S.C. Four Grandchildren Brooke Biery (Paul); Eli Montgomery; Garrett Hoffman (Hannah); Grant Hoffman (Martina) and Four Great-Grandchildren Paul Montgomery Biery; Lily Biery; Thomas Hoffman; Hannah Grace Hoffman.
The Funeral for Mr. Tom Arant will be directed by The Jerry Hartley Funeral Home, 684 Hubbard Drive, Lancaster, S.C. 29720----- Phone # 803-285-8000
