Seeing him in the garden and picking green beans and taking them to the kitchen I was really young and learning how to talk.

I knew Tom as a true brother in Christ born again into the family of God. I shared birthdays with his mother and sisters and even some Christmases with all of them. I always felt strongly, God's love in his heart when together with him and his wife. I remember how he loved to listen to and share testimonies of the things God had done in his life and others lives. Tom was part of and a member of a family that sort of took me under wing and loved me like their own when I was first saved. Tom and his wife Linda, his mother and sisters showed me what true Christian love in a natural family was all about. Tom's family stuck together and were always there for one another. Yes. Tom was a giver as unto the Lord. A cheerful giver. Not wanting or expecting anything in return. And he served God from his heart behind the scenes, noticed by God alone, and giving Him all the glory... taking none himself. He was not built up in pride. He was a humble man .
So I suppose the most important and best thing I have to say about him is what i hear God saying about him when I pray for all loved ones and friends he left behind , and that is this taken from the book of Matthew chapter 25 verse 23
His Lord said unto him, "Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord."
