Thomas Gerard "Bur" Ackley

I am so sorry. I just heard about Tom´s passing. I don´t know what to say but he was always one of the nicest guys I ever ran into on the job. Just so pleasant and easy going. Don´t know what else to say but God Bless!!

Thomas was definately a pen for God's expression. Thomas was a gentle soul. He always led by example. I knew that I could always count on him when I needed someone to talk to or if I needed help with something. Thomas was the guy that would drop whatever he was doing and help a person out with selfless intentions. Again, thank you for your friendship, guidance and mentorship. Your benevolent nature is a role model for all men to follow. RIP my brother.

So sad to hear of his passing. I worked with him for many years and have good memories of that time. Tom always had a smile on his face and was a genuinely nice guy. Prayers for his family.

Tom was truly a man´s man. Tom was important to so many people and always so nice with a big smile. Tom truly knew it was nice to be important, but more importantly to be nice. Tom´s love for his family was second to none. Tom was always right up the middle finding a solution that benefited all. Tom was a true craftsman in his trade always doing a great job with pride. We will all miss Tom here on earth as we go about our lives, but we will always have our special memories of this great man!!

One of the first I met in our neighborhood in 1998. One of the best guys (too many reasons to list here) I have ever known. Glad we wet a lot of lines together
