Thomas Amor Ackley, age 89, passed away at his home, August 26, 2025. He was born August 6, 1936 in St. John, Kansas the son of Millard Charles and Nelda Leona (Jefferies) Ackley. He was a Loan Officer having worked for a private loan company.
Thomas attended Pittsburg State University where he earned a BS in business. He was in the ROTC and later joined the Army Reserves.
He is survived by a brother Millard, Haysville, KS; 3 sisters, Nancy Kay Clarkson, Arkansas City, KS; Mona Atkins, Colorado Springs, CO; Beverly McGee, Mesquite, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
