Thomas Warden Allen

Thomas Warden Allen, age 81, a longtime Atoka, OK resident, was born on Tuesday, December 9, 1941, to Leonard Leon and Beulah M. (Turner) Allen, at Idalou, TX. Thomas passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Atoka, OK. He attended school in Idalou, TX and graduated from Caney High School in 1959. Thomas was a heavy equipment operator for road and highway construction. He married Irma Nell (Gammon) on Friday, August 12th, 2005 at Bentley, OK. They celebrated 17 years of marriage before his passing. Thomas was a longtime member of Hill Crest Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, reading, watching westerns, working jigsaw puzzles, playing dominoes, and loved playing with his grandchildren.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Irma Nell Allen of the home in Atoka, OK; children, Betty Allen of Caney, OK, Sherri Johnson and husband Raymond of Atoka, OK, Susan Bates and husband Brandon of Stringtown, OK; grandchildren, Stormy Thompson, Dalton Murray and Kimi Frizell, Lecie Murray, Jesse Morris, Luke Morris, Agustus Johnson, Jackson Bates, Madison Bates; great grandchildren, Rylon Morris, Braden Minyard, Jace Minyard; brother, Lenard Allen and wife Janis of Tushka, OK; sisters, Judy Merritt and husband Thomas of Caney, OK, Bunnie Tomlinson and husband James of Asher, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Leon and Beulah M. (Turner) Allen; brother, Jerry Allen; infant son, Larry Allen.
