Thomas Douglas Ander, 67, passed away on September 11, 2025, in Winston-Salem. Thomas was born on June 8, 1958, to Frank and Geraldine Ander, in Medina Village, N.Y. He was employed for many years at Salem Leasing Corporation in Winston-Salem and was a faithful member of United Family Church in Lewisville. He loved his family and friends but most importantly, he loved the Lord. He was a kind, generous man who would help anyone in need. We take comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of his Savior. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Dawn Ander; and cherished daughter, Danielle Marie Laskey. Surviving are his grandchildren, Daniel Scott Laskey Brown (Virginia); Destinee Lee Love, Devin Thomas Anthony Love, and Donovan John "D.J." Love; a great-granddaughter, Judith Elizabeth Brown; brothers, Jim Ander, Dennis Ander, Ken Ander (Mary Ann), Frank Ander (Denise), Joe Ander (Rose), and John Ander (Marian).
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller's Silas Creek Chapel, with Rev. Paul Kendall officiating. Interment will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.

Tommy was a very Dear Friend to me for the past 9 years. Tommy had a great sense of humor and always brought a smile to everyone that knew him. The other side of Tommy that many did not know about was his Faith in Jesus Christ. Tommy will be greatly missed by me and all those who seen him on a daily basis. Tommy is in the presence of the Lord; Absent from the Body, Present with the Lord Jesus Christ!
