Thomas Todd Anderson

Thomas Todd Anderson, 71, of Orion, passed away on Monday February 9, 2026, at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Thursday February 12, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 1301 -4th Street, Orion. Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established for a children’s music program.

Tom was born on April 6, 1954, the son of Forrest LeRoy and Ruth Marie (Andree) Anderson. He was previously employed at Farmall in Rock Island on the assembly line until 1982. Tom was a “people person” and loved visiting with his customers as the owner and operator of Triple A Advertising. He also contributed to the operations at Audie’s Pizza & Pub in Galesburg and farmed with his dad, which he loved.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Orion Sportsman’s Club. He was a talented musician and played in several bands as a drummer. He loved playing billiards and pixs. Tom was a kind and caring person and was always concerned about others’ wellbeing.

Survivors include his daughter, Cassandra Dawn (Scott) VanHoutte of Colona; daughter, Monica Jean Anderson of Louisville, Kentucky; son, Brandon Thomas Anderson of Addison, Texas; grandchildren, Brooke Marie VanHoutte of Chicago, Jordan Evelyn VanHoutte of Hampton, Taylor Ann VanHoutte of Colona; great grandson, Kai Scott Ketelsen of Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dwight Forrest Anderson.
