Thomas Anklam, age 82, passed away on July 10, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.

Thomas was born on July 24, 1941 in Wausau, WI to Russell and Martell (Scott) Anklam. Thomas married Carol Schmidt on September 23, 1967 in Wisconsin. In December 4, 1963 he joined the Army. He worked at Wausau Papers for 35 Years, Ace Hardware and Federal Mogul until he retired. Thomas Enjoyed NASCAR, Camping, Boating, Going to Car Shows, Packer Games, sitting by a Campfire, Snowmobiling, Friday night fish fry, going to church. He also Loved doing volunteer work and church activities as well. Thomas especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be truly missed by all that knew him. 

Thomas is survived by his wife Carol Anklam, (2)Children: Mark (Tricia) Anklam, Robin Anklam. (7) Grandchildren: Collin, Aubrey, Trista, Markus, Kayla, Colton, and Hannah. (2) Great-Grandchildren: Rowan and Quinton. (5)Siblings: Judy (Roger) Goetsch, Larry Anklam, Bob (Judy) Anklam, Pat (Russ) Baumann, and Jim (Barb) Anklam. Beloved dog: Blu and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Covenant Community Presbyterian Church (1806 Weston Ave Schofield WI 54476). Pastor Jim Gates will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at the church. Entombment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park at 2:00 PM.
