Janet (Wulff) Anklam, 63, of Omro, WI, passed away peacefully on October 20. She was born in Galesville, WI on July 10, 1962, the daughter of Phillip Wulff and Barbara (Hunter) Wulff.

To know Janet was to know warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. She was the heart of her family - a devoted wife who shared a deep, joyful bond with her beloved husband, Merlin Anklam of Omro, WI. Their love story was one of mutual admiration, laughter, and quiet strength. Together, they built a life filled with shared dreams, simple joys, and a deep respect that was evident to anyone who saw them together. Their connection was one of those rare and beautiful partnerships that inspire others - a love marked by both great adventures and the gentle comfort of everyday moments.

Being a mother was one of Janet's greatest sources of pride and joy. Her children always knew they could count on her - for advice, a good laugh, a listening ear, or a warm hug that made everything better. She celebrated their triumphs, stood beside them through challenges, and loved them with an unwavering devotion that shaped who they are today. The bond she shared with her children was profound - built on trust, shared humor, respect, and the deep understanding that they were her heart.

Among her many roles, being a grandmother was perhaps her favorite of all. She poured her heart into her grandchildren, creating a world of joy, play, and cherished traditions. Whether she was laughing with them, cheering them on, or quietly holding their hands, she made each one feel uniquely treasured.

Janet was also a beloved sister and cherished daughter. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters & parents - a relationship marked by loyalty, laughter, and the kind of love that lasts a lifetime. She wasn't just family - she was a best friend, a confidante, and a source of strength. The closeness they shared was one of her life's greatest treasures, and it brought her endless happiness.

She was also a loyal and beloved friend to many, with a love for travel, a passion for quilting and a renewed faith in the Lord. Her presence was a constant source of light.

Janet will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A service will be held on October 24 at 6 p.m. at Seefeld Funeral Home (1025 Oregon St, Oshkosh), with visitation from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Oshkosh Area Humane Society.

Above all, Janet will be remembered for her huge heart, her laugh that could light up a room, and the way she made every person in her life feel deeply loved.
