Thomas W. Armstrong

Thomas W. Armstrong, 65, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by his family who loved him deeply.

Born in Darby, PA on December 21, 1959, he was the son of Margaret (Hughes) Armstrong and the late Robert Armstrong. Tom grew up in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and was a proud graduate of Williamson College where he earned his degree in Engineering. His dedication and skill led him from Service Engineer, to Project Engineer and later Project Manager. In these roles, he had the opportunity to travel the world, often sharing those experiences with his family. He proudly dedicated 40 years of service to his career.

After marrying the love of his life, Barbara, the two shared a lifetime of adventure together, traveling across the country and around the world with their family with memorable periods of living in South Africa and Thailand. Tom cherished the life that he built with Barbara. Tom was an avid traveler, golfer and adventure seeker. He adored his family, and found great purpose in being a husband, father and Grandpop.

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife Barbara and his daughter Aubrey. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Armstrong of Egg Harbor NJ, his children, Deidre Steward and her fiancé, Chris Bushey, of Longmeadow, MA, Brianna Licciardi and her husband, Jonathan, of Tewksbury, NJ, Bevon Armstrong and her fiancé, Kieran Talbot, of Austin, TX, and Daemian deBidart of Enfield; his cherished grandchildren, Gabriel, Elijah, Kylee, Eloise, Wyatt, and Theo; his siblings, Joy, Karen, Robin, Sherry, Peg, Pat and Chris; along with numerous extended family members and countless friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, September 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
