Thomas "Tom" Albert Arnold, 77, of Zanesville passed at 5:00 AM Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the Oaks at Northpointe.

He was born on Thursday, August 5, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio, the son of the late Albert Joseph Arnold and Anna Gene Gray Arnold.

Tom graduated from Zanesville High school, Class of 1966. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam. Tom worked in sales for both Roekel Company and J & E Distributers. He was part-owner of Terry's Tavern and Green Acres in Gaysport for many years. Tom enjoyed playing cards, watching and playing sports and being with his friends and family just having a good time. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Peggy Jones Arnold; three children, Jan (Matt) Holbein, Jon (Andrea) Arnold and Lee Ann (Scott) Shepfer; 7 grandchildren, Graham Arnold, Briella Shepfer, Ava Arnold, Grayson Shepfer, Sydney Holbein, Owen Arnold and Crosby Shepfer; a brother, Tim Arnold and a sister, Tammy Vinsel; brothers-in-law, Don Jones and Steve (Vanessa) Jones; sister-in-law, Kathy (Jim) Buchanan; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Doug Vinsel; and a sisters-in-law, Joy Arnold and Carol Jones.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Zanesville Memorial Park with Jeff Hardwick officiating. Burial with military honors will conclude at Zanesville Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions can be made in Tom's name to the Veterans Appreciation Foundation, C/O Green Valley Golf Course 4420 Dresden Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
