Thomas O. Aslin, Jr. aka "Tommy" aka "Big Tom"
Born May 7, 1971 in Dallas, Texas and gained his wings November 3, 2024.
Preceded by his mother Yvonne Keathley Donihoo and Stepfather Larry Donihoo;
Grandparents Richard L. Keathley Sr. and Mary Keathley Ruff; Uncle Richard L.
Keathley Jr. and Aunts Kimberly Smith and Anna Jane Guinn; his beloved Boo-bear.
Tommy is survived by his children Katrina Yvonne Aslin and Trent Owen Aslin of Dallas;
grand-daughter Elena and JP Osmin; brother Jeff Aslin and sister-in-law Diane Aslin;
nephews Richard and Bailey Aslin; great-nephew Memphis; Stepbrothers Charlie and
Tim Donihoo; cousins Cristi and Andrew Giles, Eric Keathley, Glenn Smith, Glynna
Villarreal and Shane Smith along with many extended family members and lifelong
friends.
Tommy grew up in Mesquite, Texas. He was a member of the 1990 graduating class
from Mesquite High School. He joined the United States Marine Corp December of
1991. He completed his service in 1994. He explored different careers finally landing in
telecommunications where he started his own company A+ Telecom. Tommy was a bit
of an adrenaline junky. This was key to his love of all water sports and motocross. He
built a close circle of friends doing the things he loved. Although he loved doing all those
things, his greatest pride and joy were his children, Katrina and Trent. With his spiked
blonde hair and yellow tinted sunglasses, Tommy was one of a kind and will never be
forgotten.
