Thomas Ausbun Obituary
He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in the Philippines. Thomas was employed at the CF&I Steel Mill for 32 years before his retirement. When he was younger, he and his wife Eleanor enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Thomas was an avid mechanic and along with his wife enjoyed working on his cars. He loved watching football games and old western movies on TV. Thomas also enjoyed going to the Greyhound races to visit with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 62 years, Eleanor; brothers Virgil Leon, Jr, William Ray, and Victor Leon and sister, Emma Westina. Thomas is survived by his children; Linda Daughtry, Gary Ausbun and Patricia Ausbun; one grandchild, Tracy Baca; his beloved sister, Anna Mae "Sally" Wawrenczyk as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 in the Davis Memorial Chapel. Following the service, Thomas will laid to rest next to his beloved wife Eleanor in the Mountain View Cemetery. Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com.
