Thomas Eugene "Tom" Baker, age 67, of Jonesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the University of Michigan Health hospital in Ann Arbor. He was born on December 2, 1957, in Jackson, to Robert Nobles and Bethleen (Cole) Baker. He married Margaret (Fritch) Curey on October 14, 2015, and she survives.

Tom graduated from Jonesville High School in 1976 and went on to attend Adrian College. He later worked as a rural mail carrier in Jonesville for 34 years. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and going to all of their sporting events.

Tom is survived by his wife of 9 years, Margaret; his mother Beth Baker; a son Cory Baker; a stepson, Curt (Beth) Curey; six grandchildren, Briggs, Ariana, Alexandria, Joshua, Elizabeth, and William; five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Parker, Adelina, Burdock, and Remmington; one sister, Rhonda (Sam) Schlubatis; and three half siblings, Kathy, Robert and Gary Nobles.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Nobles; his adoptive father, Gordon Baker; one brother, Brian Baker; and one half-sister, Brenda Nobles.

A memorial visitation for Tom Baker will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association. Services have been entrusted to Eagle Funeral Home.
