Thomas Wright Barnes III, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the age of 67. Survived by Wife, Sharon Lynne Barnes; partner, Karin May. Thomas was the cherished son of the late Evelyn Byrd and Thomas Wright Barnes Jr.; devoted father of Tracey Barnes (Phillip) Mackey; precious grandfather of Kaylee Annabelle Mackey, Cayden Alexander Mackey, Noah Thomas Michael Mackey, Logan Wesley Mackey, and Samson Phillip Mackey; dear brother of Phillip Byrd Barnes; beloved uncle of Dana Barnes, and Jason Barnes.
Thomas proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force. He began his career with McDonnell-Douglas, later becoming Boeing, and retired after 32 years of dedicated service. Thomas was a board gamer, war history gamer, science fiction fan, and Gamemaster. He was an avid baseball fan and he enjoyed traveling the world. His greatest joy was his daughter and his grandchildren. Thomas was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew.
Memorials may be made in Thomas's name to the American Heart Association.
