Thomas Howard Bartrum

Thomas Howard Bartrum, age 71 of Martin, KY, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born February 8, 1954 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late Emory Zida and Geraldine Hess Bartrum. He was a truck driver and a veteran of the United States Marines.
He is survived by four sons: Logan Tyler (Andrea Watts) Bartrum, Kite, KY and Nicholas Cody Bartrum both of Kite, KY, Nathan Emory Bartrum, Prestonsburg, KY, Dustin Kyle Bartrum, Martin, KY; four brothers; James Bartrum, Huber Heights, OH, Walter Bartrum, Martin, KY, John Bartrum, Eastern, KY, Bat Bartrum, Warrenton, MO, two sisters; Minnie Neace, Dayton, OH, Sharon Melching, Martin, KY, eight grandchildren: Addison Spencer, Aubriella Bartrum, Lanston Zida Bartrum, Nicholas Blake Bartrum, Sunni Ellis Bartrum, Kason Tyler Bartrum, Emory Ryan Bartrum and Paisley Lynn Blankenship, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon and Jerald Bartrum, and one sister; Shirley White.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY. Burial will follow in the Willard Kinzer Veterans Cemetery, Allen, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
