Lorene Akers Obituary
She is survived by three sons; Brandon (Summer) Spears, Banner, KY, Phillip (Cathy) Akers, Harold, KY and Tim Akers, Martin, KY, three daughters; Tashea (Lee) Goble, Ivel, KY, Tabatha Spears, Pikeville, KY and Priscilla Akers, Louisville, KY, ten grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son; David Akers, six brothers; Charlie, Sam, E. Howard, Eugene, Ray and Noah Meade, three sisters; Edna Blanton, Zella Mae Salisbury and Juanita Johnson.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
