Mr. Thomas F. Belmonte, of Saugus, age 77, passed away on February 22, 2026.

Born in Boston and raised in Saugus, he was the beloved son of the late Frank and Josephine (Quartarone) Belmonte. Tom was a disabled combat veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW post #2346 in Saugus. He worked many years for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring. His time was spent in the company of his friends and family. He enjoyed golfing as well as vacationing in Maine and Cape Cod in his free time. He was an avid fan of the Red Sox and New England Patriots. His quick wit, unique humor and special smile always made any event he attended unforgettable. Above all else, the sun rose and set with his beloved daughters and grandchildren "his babies" as he called them; Mr. Cameron, Jessica and Mr. Bennett.

He is survived by his three daughters; Jennifer Belmonte of North Billerica, Adrienne Grato and her husband Stephen Grato of Haverhill, Dyan Belmonte and her partner Brian Gould of Marlborough, three grandchildren; Cameron, Jessica and Bennett. He was the brother of Margaret Sheldon of Peabody, the late Franny Marsiglia. Mr. Belmonte was the former husband of Beverly Murray of Billerica and brother-in-law of the late Henry Marsiglia. He also leaves behind many nieces and a nephew.

Donations in his honor may be made to the Disabled American Veterans @help.dav.org.

At the request of his family services will be private.
