Thomas Blinn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home on Oct. 29, 2024.
Thomas M. Blinn, age 54, beloved life partner of Karen (Magnan) Sheehan died Sunday, October 27 at their home with his family by his side after a battle with cancer.
He was born in Haverhill a son of Richard Blinn of Haverhill and Theresa (Nicolson) Burgoyne formerly of Plaistow, NH. He lived in Salem, NH before making Billerica his forever home.
Tom was a commercial glass installer for Pentucket Glass and Aluminum. He was very much involved with Billerica Little League as a coach and board member however his biggest passion was being on the field as an umpire having fun with the players. In the summer, Tom and Karen loved going camping, sitting by the fire and just leaving life behind. He would always say he would rather be camping. He was a master of the kitchen and grille, with many requests for his amazing ribs. If something was broken, Tom would always find a way to fix it with no questions asked. Lastly, he was most comfortable in his cowboy boots no matter the occasion.
Besides the love of his life Karen, he is survived by his children Brandan Blinn of Haverhill, Matthew Blinn of Epping, NH, Leah and Cameron Sheehan of Billerica. Tom is also survived by a brother, extended family, dear friend Dan Sheehan and many more.
Tom's family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Maria Galkin of the Oncology Department at Lahey Hospital for her compassion in treating Tom and never giving up on him.
Funeral Monday, November 4, from Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 11:30 a.m. A Graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, November 3, from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
