He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Froy Boswell and Maggie Ellen Boswell; his brothers, Robert Andrew Boswell and Milton Froy Boswell.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Katherine Hayden Boswell; his children, Thomas Allen Boswell, Jr, Tiffany Marie Ross, Joseph Ross, and Christopher Boswell; his siblings, Roy Lee Boswell, Clyde James Boswell, and Teresa Boswell; his grandchildren, Joel Ross, Hadleigh Boswell, Ryan Ross, Hudson Boswell, and Harris Boswell; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and former coworkers.
Tom was a native of Gulfport and a longtime resident of Pass Christian. Tom started his career at Mobile Medic, then went to Memorial Hospital where he met his wife. He later earned a Bachelor of Nursing degree. He worked at Memorial Hospital at Gulfport over 42 years where he worked in multiple departments and mentored and loved everyone he worked with. Tom enjoyed fishing with everyone who wanted to go, especially with his sons and grandchildren. He loved working on his lawn and watching his family enjoy his pool. Tom was an exceptional carpenter and loved seeing his projects completed.
The family would like to thank Dr. Allison Wall and all the medical staff that had a hand in Tom’s care. We would also like to thank Notre Dame Hospice for all the remarkable care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child or grandchild or take a walk on the beach. Time waits for no one. Make memories!
