Thomas Richard Boyd, 77, of Acme PA, passed away on October 9, 2025. Born in Charleroi on April 29, 1948, he was a son of the late Elmer C. and Dolores A. (Axton) Boyd.

Tom graduated from Belle Vernon Area High School in 1966. After High School, Tom began working for U.S. Steel and retired from management in 2006, after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Fairhope Rod & Gun Club and the Naomi Athletic Club. He enjoyed hunting and Motocross and was a great sports fan of the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. Tom especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Carol L. (Risku) Boyd; sons, Larry O. (Tina) Boyd of Rostraver, Chad T. (Amy) Boyd of Elizabeth and Justin S. Boyd (Nathaniel Guest) of Pottstown; former daughter-in-law, Angie Batovsky of Belle Vernon; grandchildren, Ashley Boyd, Jamey Boyd, Larry T. Boyd, Paige Boyd, Allyson Boyd, Elsie Boyd and Evan Boyd; great grandchildren, Madison, McKinley, Cambrie and Luca; brother Duane (Cheryl) Boyd of Rostraver; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Jazzy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry C. Boyd.

At Tom's request, there will be no public visitation.
