Msgr. Thomas R. Bride

Msgr. Bride was born on February 23, 1940 and passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019. Msgr. Bride was a resident of Norwich, Connecticut at the time of passing. A graduate of Middletown High School, he studied for the priesthood at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield and St. Bernard Seminary in Rochester, N.Y. Thomas R. Bride PA, KCHS, of the Diocese of Norwich, was called to eternal rest with the Lord Wednesday, June 26, 2019. The Vigil for the Deceased with Reception at the Church will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30th at Christ the King Church, 1 McCurdy Road, Old Lyme. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, also at Christ the King Church by the Most Reverend Michael R. Cote, D.D. Bishop of Norwich.
