Thomas R. Brown age 77, of Neenah passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on Monday, August 11, 2025. Tom was born on August 29, 1947 in Appleton son of the late Norman and Sybelle (Plank) Brown. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Menasha in 1965. He then went to Marquette University where he obtained his undergraduate and master's degree in business, graduating in 1971. Tom was Vice President of Private Banking at Associated Bank in Neenah for many years retiring on March 31, 2008. He was a lifelong active member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah serving on the Finance Council, Cemetery Board and the Funeral Meal Ministry. He was also a past member of the Kiwanis Club and a member of the Neenah Club. Tom married Nancy Thompson on January 31, 1986. Tom and Nancy enjoyed going to Door County where they had a second home for many years and they also enjoyed going to many Packer games as well as traveling. Tom was the kindest man anyone could meet and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife Nancy, Tom is survived by his sisters-in-law, Trudi (Brennan) Johnson and Debra Thompson (Lawrence Riff); his siblings, Dave (Marilyn) Brown, Susan Brown, Norman (Phyllis) Brown, Tim (Sue) Brown, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved cat Sheldon. Tom was also proud to have been a Godfather to five.

He was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Sybelle Brown, father-in-law Milford Thompson and mother-in-law Carol Thompson; his sister Barb (Don) Wiess and his nephew Norman Brown.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 19, 2025 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 620 Division St. with Fr. Nonito Barra officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to: St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Tri County Dental Clinic, Valley Cat and Kitten Rescue or Future Neenah.

Tom's family would like to thank Prairie Home Assisted Living for the compassionate care they provided Tom over the last six months. Brittney, Candace, Mike, Todd and the entire staff became like family.

Thank you also to Rebecca and the caring staff of St. Croix Hospice who helped Tom and his family during the last week of his life.
