Thomas Brown Obituary

Thomas (Tom) Cecil Brown of Conyers, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the age of 84. He grew up on a farm in Laurens, SC. He graduated from Eriskine College with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in mathematics. He accepted a management position with Southern Bell (AT&T) in Atlanta, GA. After 29 years, he retired from AT&T.

Tom was a loving and supportive husband and father. Tom was predeceased by his father and mother, Thaddeus Cecil Brown and Mary Alyce Hutchinson Brown. He is survived by: his wife, Martha Paslay Milam, of 62 years; his children Martha Alyce Brown (Chuck) Suggs and Thaddeus Henry (Wendy) Brown; his grandchildren Thaddeus Daniel Suggs, Charles Thomas Suggs, Gallean Glacier "Gigi" Brown, and Mason Thomas Brown; his brothers Dr Byron (Alice) Brown, Dr Cecil (Betsy) Brown, his sister-in law Mary Leona Milam Moses, and nieces & nephews.

On Saturday, Aug 30, 2025, visitation will be at Scot Ward Funeral Services in Conyers, GA from 1:00 to 2:30 with the service starting at 3:00. On Sunday, Aug 31, 2025, burial service will be at New Prospect Baptist Church in Laurens, SC at 2:00. Donations can be made to New Prospect Baptist Church.
