Thomas Brown Obituary
Thomas Franklin Brown age 82 passed Monday, January 12, 2026 in a local Cleveland, TN hospital.
He was a life long resident of Bradley county.
He was a member of the Second Street Church of Christ in Cleveland, TN., and worked over twenty-six years as a custodian for Bradley County Schools.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Brown, and Margaret Mack Brown, son, Desumond Whaley, three sisters, Margie Ramsey, Joann Jones, and Johnnie Bell Brown, brothers, James Brown, and Tony Brown and aunt Daisy Phillips and uncles Robert Mack.
Survivors include his daughter Kimberly Adamson, four granddaughters, Brittany Colson, Lauren Adamson, Destiny Whaley, and Faith Welch, one great-granddaughter Brylee Colson. Brothers, Vonzell Brown, Charles Brown, and Eugene Brown. A special friend and caretaker for the past eight years Harland Harvey, many nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home – Cleveland, TN with Brother Ronald Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
