Thomas Caperon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Summers Funeral Home - Ustick Chapel - Meridian on May 3, 2024.
On Sunday morning, April 28th, 2024 Thomas Earl Caperon passed away in the comfort of his home located in Boise, ID at age 57. Born in Springfield, OR September 18th, 1966 to his parents Billie and Robert Jr, he lived a life full of love and service. In his early years he graduated from Boise High School in 1985 and later obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2007. After his first marriage, he remarried Robyn Phelan on July 6th, 1996 in Boise, ID.
Tom always prided himself on not only being a service to his family and friends, but to any who crossed his path. This applied both in his work at gas plants around the country protecting his fellow crews and his passion as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. He took any opportunity to serve and love his community. Starting in 2021 as President of the Lions Club, and later a Membership Chair, he participated in numerous volunteer events and meetings. His constant motto was to love God and love people, always hoping to have others take this purpose to heart.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching the Broncos win their games, camping, and taking motorcycle trips. Tom is survived by his wife Robyn Caperon of 27 years, his six brothers Ed (Theresa) Caperon, Bob Caperon, Roger Caperon, Todd (Patty) Caperon, Brad (Karen) Mugleston, and Ron Hooker; his children Colby (Amanda) Caperon, Kylee Caperon, Sadie Caperon, Phoebe Caperon, and his six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Billie (Pederson) Caperon, Robert Caperon Jr.; mother-in-law Jan Phelan, and one nephew, Aaron Caperon.
The memorial service will be held May 18th, 2024 in the Summers Funeral Home, 3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID at 1:00 pm. We look forward to seeing the friends and family that have cherished Tom as the man that served and loved the people in his life.

The world has lost an incredible man and our hearts are broken. We just found out this morning of Tom's passing and our only consolation is knowing one day we will see him in Heaven! Our love goes out to his family and friends as he always spoke so lovingly of Robin, his children and his siblings. God bless you all!

Tom managed my money at Edward Jones and he always helped me with the things such as managing my money being newly divorced, paying off my car, and needing money to get a new roof while still investing and staying calm in this moment in time. He told me that he and Sophia always prayed over the business and I really took comfort in that. We had some good laughs together and I know he loved his family and friends. While I am sad that he is gone, I look forward to seeing him in heaven because I know that Tom is a Christian and he believed that Jesus died for him so he can have eternal life!

Tom pretty much rescued me after the death of my husband. He helped me organize my life, not only financially but, as a friend who really cared and personally committed himself to watch over me, taking care of all my needs for the past 11 yrs. He was more than my broker as he was my neighbor, he became one of my dearest friends and he was my guardian angel. Being all alone, I cherished his wisdom and advice. He was always there to talk me through the difficult times in my life and share his thoughts, warmth and understanding. We had many heartfelt moments of laughter and he wasn´t afraid to be completely honest with me.
My deepest sympathy, love and prayers go out to his beautiful family, I am so sorry for your loss as I know he will be sadly missed by all those who´s lives he touched in such a special way. RIP Tom, I will always love and remember you my dear friend. Thank you for everything!

I didn't know Tom all that long really. I really enjoyed talking to him. Such a great person. We had him and Robyn over for board games last summer and it was a really great day. I'm really going to miss him. I was proud to call him friend.

Tom was too young to leave us. We will mourn the loss of a true brother. Thank you for the memories, the laughs and love. You were always game for fun and a challenge. A good hard working man who never met a stranger. I'll miss the family events, the motorcycling and time for "just one more!" Cheers brother Tom. I see you. Yep, I see you sitting there in heaven...... easy chair, smoking the pipe, petting the dog.
In the name of Jesus I pray for comfort and healing for your family.
Let this be a time for beautiful memories and tears of love. Patty and I send our Love to you and your family.
