Thomas Patrick Carter, born on July 19, 1989, to Thomas Benedict Carter and Nancy Diane (Kennedy) Carter, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2025. He was a beloved husband to his wife, Sarah (Riley) a wonderful father to his son Finn Thomas Carter. He is survived by his parents: Thomas Carter (married to Linda Carter) and Nancy Wray, siblings: Lauren Stehle (married to Tate Stehle), Kelly Warren (married to John Warren), JD Wray (married to Tyler Wray) Nieces and Nephews: Kami Stehle, Kaylee Stehle, Madelynn Warren, Evelynn Warren, Macy Wray, and Ada Wray. He is also survived by countless other close family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Thomas was a Technical Sales Support Supervisor at Jack Henry Company. He left behind a legacy that many would not have been able to accomplish in the span of multiple lifetimes. His unwavering support for his family and friends inspired everyone he met, creating a ripple effect that will continue for generations to come. Thomas was a passionate sports fan who loved hiking, singing karaoke, and always had a way of lighting up any room he entered with his vibrant energy and infectious spirit.
In honor of Thomas's life and memory, funeral services will be held on April 4, 2025. The day will begin with a visitation at Greenlawn Funeral Home East from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. providing an opportunity for family and friends to gather and share their cherished memories of Thomas. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 am, where loved ones will come together to celebrate his life and the impact he made in their hearts.
Thomas will be laid to rest at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens in a burial ceremony scheduled the same day. This final farewell will offer a moment of reflection and remembrance for all who knew him.
Though he has left this world too soon, Thomas Carter's spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed, yet always remembered fondly.
