Tom's formative years were spent in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico. He graduated High School from New Mexico Military Institute where he also attended college. He spent his early career as diesel mechanic in Various industries including energy exploration, with the Tennessee Valley Authority, and Browning Ferris Industries. Realizing the toll taken on his body he switched his career by completing coursework in Cisco Networking management and began working with the Dept of the Navy in Pensacola. He retired in '21 to spend more time with friends and his corgi dogs.
