Thomas R. Cloutier, 87, of Berlin, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Coos County Nursing Home. He was born in Berlin on November 28, 1938, the son of Emery and Zenia (Kelly) Cloutier, and was a lifelong resident. He had been employed as a meat cutter for Prince’s IGA and had also been employed by Converse Rubber Company. Tom served with the US Marines. He loved to socialize and play pool. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he served as a past Secretary, and was a member of the White Mountain Post #2520 VFW and a long-time member of the Cpl. Richard Demers Marine Corps League.
Family includes his daughters Debra Cloutier of Berlin, NH, Susan Cloutier of Milan, NH, and Janet Tremblay of Berlin, NH; stepsons Michael Dupont of Berlin, NH and Robert Dupont of Gorham, NH; grandchildren David Morse, Jr., Dominic Morse, Kyle Lapointe, Kate Lapointe, Tyler Tremblay, Dylan Tremblay, Brian Dupont, and Mathew Dupont, all of Berlin, and Billy Dupont of York, ME and Suzanne Dupont of MA; sisters Cheryl Riley and husband Dick of Milford, NH, and Kathy Riendeau and husband George of Groveton, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Lori Cloutier and by his brothers George Cloutier, John L. Cloutier, Jimmy Cloutier, Robbie Cloutier, and Donnie Cloutier.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 9-11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, with military honors to be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow in St. Kieran Cemetery. There will be no funeral service. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.bryantfuneralhome.net
