Thomas R. "Tom" Connell

Dear Vernice and family, my name is Chuck Celentano. I was a close friend of Tom´s when he was in his final days of his tour of duty in Petersburg, VA and his employment at WXEX-TV. Tom was an usher in my wedding in 1976 and was my Daughter´s Baptism Godfather. I spoke to Tom a few years ago but we just never truly reconnected. We both were committed to our careers and even though I never stopped thinking of Tom or praying for him, we just never, really had a chance to reconnect.
I hope Tom mentioned me once or twice. We were very close friends. I am very sad to read that Tom passed away earlier this month. I wish we could have spoken at least once or twice more.
