Thomas Constable Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Krause Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Inc. - Brookfield on Jun. 5, 2024.
Thomas Constable
"Tom"
Entered Heaven on Saturday, June 1, 2024, age 82. Loving Husband of Doreen for 54 years. Devoted Dad of Kim (Burke) Seeberg and Nicole (Ryan) Sweeney. Proud Bapa of Fritz and Renate Sweeney. Brother of Barbara Brown and Jan (Darcy) Constable. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Jeanette Constable.
Tom was passionate about making a difference in his community. This passion was honed over his 25 year career at Waukesha Memorial Hospital where he retired from ProHealth Care in 2007 as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Tom also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member of Carroll College where he taught HR courses in the business school.
Tom's community advocacy spanned decades. Most noticeably, he served on the Board of Directors for Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum, the United Way in Waukesha County, Food Pantry of Waukesha County, the YMCA and YWCA of Waukesha. Tom was also a Rotary member where he was key in the development of RiverFest.
He received countless awards and commendations over the years but was most proud of receiving The Community Leader of the Year award in 2007. Tom believed that great communities were created when its citizens gave back with their time and talent. You can honor Tom's legacy by taking time to volunteer.
Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Additional Gathering will be held at Krause Funeral Home, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
