Thomas Meredith Cooper, 82, of Camas and Renton, Washington, passed away on September 23, 2025. He was born on December 21, 1942, in Dyersburg, Tennessee.

Thomas was a man characterized by his quiet demeanor, honor, and deep understanding, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

Thomas proudly served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1965, demonstrating a steadfast commitment and discipline to duty that would define much of his life's pursuits.

After his military service, he embarked on a successful career as an Electrical Technician at Texas Instruments, where he met his wife. He broadened his expertise as an Information Specialist at Tektronix, and eventually excelled as a Project Manager of Information at Mercy Medical and Peace Health. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and leadership.

Beyond his professional life, Thomas personal hobbies included ham radio, square dancing, bingo, and traveling. He brought joy not only to himself, but to those around him.

Thomas was a graduate of Halls High School in Halls, Tennessee, setting the stage for a life of continuous learning and adaptation.

He was a warm and supportive father figure to a loving family;

Daughters; Debbie & Rudy Mancias of Jasper, TX, and Cindy & Wally Galbraith of Camas, WA.

Sons; Mark & Robin of Oran, MO, Michael & Lisa Parker of Seymour, TN, and Matthew & Linda Parker of Renton, WA.

Grandchildren; Kellie Parker & Jamal Amadi, Alex & Sara Parker, Melissa & Jeremiah Godak, Ashley & Melissa Rainboldt, and Trianna Galbraith. Beth Knight, Jonathan Knight, Michael Knight, Christopher Tophor, Preston Parker

Great Grandchildren; Hunter Parker, Tyberius Godak Evan Finchum, Kyle Finchum, Cara Finchum.

Thomas's thoughtful and kind nature will be missed by all who knew him, especially his friends in Camas and at the Maple Valley Community Center.

Services to honor Thomas's life were held on October 15th, 2025 at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests supporting the Maple Valley Veterans Memorial which is located near the Maple Valley Community Center.
