Thomas William Corbin

Thomas William Corbin, 65, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at UPMC Hanover Hospital in Hanover, PA. Born on February 26, 1960, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Vivian Elaine Corbin Noel. He was the beloved husband of 43 years to Cheryl Ann Walsh Corbin. Thomas retired from Becton Dickinson after many years as a manufacturing supervisor for medical supplies. He also worked at Ridge Engineering, General Dynamics and was the owner of Backwoods Taxidermy. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church of Hampstead, MD. He enjoyed spending time outside, especially when it involved hunting, fishing, or golfing. Thomas also loved going to both of his grandsons' baseball games and spending time with his family. He especially loved telling hunting stories with his taxidermy customers and hunting friends. Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: Rebecca Crafton and husband Dave of Hampstead, MD, Ryan Corbin of Westminster, MD, and grandchildren: Thomas and Travis Crafton. He is also survived by siblings: Rob Corbin and wife Lynn, Bruce Corbin, Elaine Forbes and husband Frank, Mike Corbin and wife Elise, Kim Oates and husband Glenn, Paul Noel and wife Ruth, Jeff Noel and wife Eva, Scott Noel and wife Fran, Steve Noel and wife Kim, and numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by his sister: Cathy Corbin, nephew: Michael Corbin, and in-laws: Carroll and Virginia Walsh. A private graveside service will take place in Shiloh Church Cemetery, Hampstead, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Shiloh United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 3100 Shiloh Rd, Hampstead, MD 21074.
