Born July 20th, 1940, in Yakima, Washington to Herman and Hazel Cossalter.Thomas "Coach" Joseph Cossalter was peacefully released back into the great waters of eternity on Friday, January 31st, 2025 at the age of 84. He suffered from a stroke from which there was to be no recovery. He passed with his family at his side, embraced in love and warmth.
Coach led a wonderfully full life, loved his family and friends deeply, and was a student of life. Anything worth doing was to be learned through a studious eye, whether it be chess, sports, or, his final passion, fishing.
Coach was a passionate and loving soul, and under anesthesia, was known to flirt with and propose to many a nurse. He will be greatly missed.
Tom is preceded by his wife, Sally and both his parents.
Tom is survived by his son, Stephen with his wife,Janice, and his two daughters, Kari, with her husband, Glenn and Amber with her fiance, Tony. His grandchildren, Stephenie, Thomas, Dreyden, Chloe, Mekhi, Nathan, Daniel, and Nathan and great- grandchildren, Sally and Solana have also survived him as well as his sister Alana with her husband Vernan, and his step-sister Georgine.
A special thanks to Nancy Harville for the companionship she gave Coach in his past few years...we know he enjoyed your time together.
