Minutes ago, I learned of Tom´s passing. My wife Sue and I were deeply saddened.
I worked with Tom in the 80´s, serving as the Deputy Personnel Officer for Ulster County. Tom was so very kind to me and my family. When my infant daughter needed surgery and I had no way to get to New York City Tom kindly lent me his car for several days without me even needing to ask. When I needed flexible work hours so I could complete my college degree Tom graciously allowed me to adjust my schedule as I needed. There were many other kindnesses that Tom showed me and my family over the years. I miss him.
I am glad to see that Tom and Sally had a fun and fulfilling retirement.

We are just learning of Tom´s passing and are saddened. We met Tom while he was in the process of retiring to Lake Placid, NY. A wonderful man with unlimited compassion, and yes, always an entertaining story. When Tom and Sally left Lake Placid, we were able to visit when they first moved (in fact we drove their car from Lake Placid to Naples for them) and then again to see Tom in 2020 when we were visiting the area. COVID cut our visit short, but we had a wonderful dinner together and were able to visit his home. We were blessed to have had that extra time with him and hear even more incredibly entertaining stories. We are certain he also had a million questions upon arriving in Heaven! He will be missed.
